Paperbark Lodge
Where the colourful apartments surround the magnificently renovated "Old Farm Barn," which takes centre stage.
The focal point of Paperbark Lodge is the “Old Farm Barn,” which still has its original door. This is the dining area for all the lodge’s meals. It has been tastefully restored and features a large fireplace, polished floors, and fold-back windows that let in natural light and ventilation. Furthermore, dinners are served in the distinctive Paperbark Boma outside under the stars.
The room’s stunning yet understated décor has shale walls, paintings of fauna, and deft use of wood. The open grassy area surrounding the lodge offers breathtaking views of the reserve’s broad plains to the west. For a cool plunge on a steamy summer’s day, the rock pool is conveniently located within walking distance. The opulent premier suite has a four-poster bed and a large bathroom with a ball-and-claw tub.

Figtree House
Up to ten people can stay in this fully-serviced, self-catering homestead, which has a lounge, veranda, boma, and bar.
For groups of up to ten people, Figtree House offers full service. Every room on the homestead has a direct view of the surrounding garden, and it feels like an old-fashioned farmhouse. With Tala’s undulating hills in the distance, the boma braai area is visible from the main lounge’s veranda.
Every one of the five rooms has an attached bathroom that leads to a shared, open-concept lounge featuring a bar. The big dining room tables are perfect for having dinner or breakfast in private. Figtree House is the ideal spot to unwind after a demanding conference day or even the evening following a wedding, since it is conveniently located just a short stroll from both the Figtree Barn and the Figtree Auditorium.
Figtree House is the perfect place for wedding party preparations because of its handy position just adjacent to the Fig Tree Barn. All meals are served at the Tala Restaurant; reservations are requested if you would like to join us for dinner. Meals and beverages must be paid for at the reception upon your departure.

Leadwood Cottages
Couples are drawn to the charming thatch-and-shale cottages, while a magnificent home provides the ultimate atmosphere for intimate occasions.
With locally mined shale, a group of artisans constructed Leadwood Lodge, which features breathtaking natural beauty, soaring thatch, and exquisite finishes. The décor is an eclectic blend of unique artistic components mixed with organic and antique African features. The lodge is a masterwork of earth, water, glass, and hardwoods that was created with the design philosophy of “nothing straight, nothing painted.” Leadwood Lodge is a peaceful and serene location. Leadwood Lodge can only accommodate parties of six to twelve individuals. Aloe Lodge offers game drives and food and beverage services.

Just before the sun sets, visitors can replenish their sundowner supplies at the stylish new bar. The elegant restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining, and its open-plan, tall, and minimalist main area leads into it. It’s the ideal location for a small meeting or a toast to success under the stars, with the Leadwood staff seeing to all of your needs.
The Rooms:
Following a recent renovation, Leadwood Manor House can now accommodate up to eight guests in bedrooms that have been thoughtfully created to guarantee complete solitude and ultimate luxury. There are two well-appointed double ensuite rooms with a bath and shower, and one ensuite presidential suite with a bath, shower, and separate dressing room. Also, this master bedroom’s private lounge and viewing terrace have been carefully included in the design. Regarding the new rooms’ interiors, picture tasteful floor to ceiling windows, luxurious four-poster beds, polished flooring, and vibrant rugs that complement Leadwood’s tasteful yet understated grandeur across the entire home. Every room has an easy-going, light-filled design that maximizes the breathtaking vistas, which are also found in the bathrooms.
